When I went there last Thursday the 14th for surgery, it was a mess.I do believe they do not call soon enough to do the review of medicines.Because I was told wring info on when to stop med, but with getting a call only 2 days before my surgery how was I to even stop something 4 to 8 days prior to surgery? And one of my meds , I was told to stop the day of surgery , which I should have stopped four days before surgery , so anesthesia would not do the surgery. I had to put my surgery off , but I went back on this Tuesday the 19th and it was a wonderful experience, everybody was sweet, everybody was helpful.I felt very comfortable.I felt very seen and taking care of. As I've told them, I was born there.So when I do get bad service or problems , it really is profound for me , because i've been using this hospital for 66 years. I do wanna thank the staff and the nurses and everyone that took care of me , good job. The personality is of most of your staff is so upbeat even when I know they're tired.

I recently had a radiology appointment, and I want to express my gratitude for the excellent care I received. From the moment I checked in until the moment I left, every staff member was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. They guided me step by step through my X‑ray procedure, making sure I understood what to expect and felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Their patience and clear communication made a big difference, and I truly appreciate the supportive environment they created. Thank you for providing such outstanding service.

Check in was quick and easy all of the staff was very pleasant. The young lady at the check in desk helping with the tablets was super helpful and she explained what was needed. Dawn from radiology took care of me and I couldn’t have been in better hands than her and Dr Carter. I was placed at ease for my procedure and they explained everything thoroughly. Hands down overall great experience from beginning to end.

The staff was AMAZING! I don't know what the Female ER doctors name is but she saw how tired and distressed I was. She vowed to do right by me. She DID! I wish I could thank her 🙏. Once admitted, my nurses Tolu and Brandi and Kelly were so accommodating and kind. I was impressed with how the cleanliness of my room was maintained by Niesha. Each person in the transport department was seamless and extra kind. Dawn in radiology is irreplaceable! I've had 6 Spinal Taps in the past year and she has been my rock every time! Lastly I want to thank the True angel Dr. Hentschel!!! He has given me a gift that no other doctor in St Vincent or beyond has been willing to take the time to give me since 2016. A SOLID DIAGNOSIS!!! His knowledge is unmatched, he is very thoughtful and thorough. He wrote my treatment plan on the white board so I could understand and follow the process. Thanks to him, my vision will not be lost. Thanks to him, I will not have an aneurysm or stroke from my brain issue. I've suffered for years and I have been passed around between doctors. I almost gave up. I'm so grateful for the entire staff.

The best hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. The doctors and nurses will provide you with excellent, compassionate care. The nurses are very empathetic and compassionate as well. The doctors have excellent bedside manner and the doctors treat you as a whole patient, not dismissing anything. The clinical staff goes above and beyond to make a positive impact. Even the ER staff is great, welcoming, friendly, and they are fast to treat you.

I was at my worst after having 2 back surgeries within 6 days my first time having a hospital stay I was there for 14 days. Just got released yesterday Everyone was great from the doctor nurses dietary CNA To housekeeping, I didn’t wanna leave. I really didn’t. I want to think everyone that play a part and getting me better you guys are the best. You don’t realize how much you need help until you at the point where you can’t wipe your own butt they are some real professionals. If I had to do it all over again I would choose the same people. Physical therapy was great too real motivation. They really cared every nurse. I had really cared. You know how you tell of some people do it for the money or they do it because they care for people they all did it and do it because they care for people. I am grateful to have being in so many good hands. I wish I was able to think each and every person before I left that I had came in contact with the past 14 days while I was there if you guys get to read this thank you God bless you guys..Lawrence Wright (2320)

I went in for a echocardiogram at 6:30a.m at my heart doctor, Dr.Butler, and had a great experience. The nurse(technician) did an outstanding job. She was very professional and pleasant. She listened as I jabbered about this and that, telling her I just got out of the hospital, that I was in for 2 months. As I dealt with antibiotic therapy for 2 months, having a bone infection in my spine, I proceeded to tell her that not really moving around much during that time, it really did a number on my body turning me into medical wreckage. I went in w/ only taking two medications to when I got home, I somehow ended up getting 11 medications. It was ridiculous. She so nicely while carried on taking the video of my heart. It was totally a pleasant experience. Thank you Dr. Butler's team. Bravo! 👍💥💝

The staff is absolutely amazing. I wish I could remember all the names, but they all made me feel calm and cared for. I do remember the nurses Jennifer and Carmen. Thank you for your kindness and making me feel so special. From the kind lady that registered me to the sweet volunteer that wheeled me to the car, thank you and God bless you!! St. Vincent's will always be my hospital of choice!

I had a radiology appointment and everyone from the information desk, appt check-in, and radiology dept were very nice and helpful. The person who stood out most for me was the volunteer that picked me up at registration and dropped me off at radiology. We had such a nice conversation during our walk! Thanks for making people feel comfortable while they are there.

Amazing staff. Very efficient. You can tell they really care about your well being. Food was amazing. What little I got to eat being on a strict diet plan but tasty none the less. One of the nurses on the 4th floor that really stood out to me was Ariel I believe. She was kind, patient and very easy to talk to. I will come here for all of my medical needs from now on. Picture is of the food they served the day I got out.
